  2. Yeshivas Ner Yisroel of Toronto (Ner Israel Yeshiva College) (Hebrew: נר ישראל) is a Haredi yeshiva (Jewish educational institution) in Vaughan, Ontario, Canada with government recognition of its degree-granting programs. [1] The yeshiva includes both a Beis Midrash program and a high school.

  8. In 1959, Rabbi Sholom Gold established a branch of Ner Yisroel in Toronto. In 1964, Rabbi Yaakov Weinberg became the Rosh Yeshiva of Yeshivas Ner Yisroel of Toronto until 1971. [ 28 ] This yeshiva still functions but is no longer affiliated with Ner Yisroel in Baltimore.
