Wells Cathedral has unique features that separate it from other English cathedrals including its iconic West Front and the beautiful ‘scissor arches’ supporting the central tower, as well as one of the largest collections of historic stained glass in the country.
The cathedral is close to Wookey Hole and is 21 miles southwest of Bath. Several buses connect Bath Bus Station with the town of Wells including numbers 171, 172, 173 (via Radstock, Midsomer Norton, Chilcompton, Gurney Slade) and 174. The journey takes about 90 minutes.
