David Charles Goelz (/ ˈ ɡ oʊ l z /; born July 16, 1946) is an American puppeteer and voice actor known for his work with the Muppets. He is best known for performing the characters Gonzo the Great, Dr. Bunsen Honeydew, Zoot, and Beauregard.
