Jun 28, 2023 · UNSW Sydney has moved up 26 spots in the 2024 QS World University Rankings to equal 19th alongside its crosstown counterpart the University of Sydney. The two universities are now ranked equal second in Australia.
Six of UNSW’s subjects are in the world’s top 20, including accounting & finance, environmental sciences, and several engineering specialisations. UNSW also offers the world’s first bachelor’s degree in quantum engineering as well as Australia’s most in-demand medicine degrees.
