Continuing our #NewsecPropertyOutlook Autumn series, this Wednesday we hosted a special session in #Riga, where industry leaders shared key insights on transforming real estate for the digital age and beyond. We had the honor of welcoming special guests - Christoffer Börjesson, Managing Director, Digital Accelerator at Newsec, Allan Hani, COO at R8 TECHNOLOGIES, Peteris Strautins, Economist at Luminor Latvija, as well as our Newsec experts Monika Nedzinskaitė, Head of Transactions for Lithuania, and Reinis Ignatavics, CEO and Country manager Latvia, who all shared invaluable insights about Latvia market situation, current changes, and how they will be further impacted by digital transformation. We are also very grateful to our panel discussion moderator Kristine Gaigule-Saveja, Partner at WALLESS Latvia, and all panel participants - Jūratė Gaspariūnienė, Head of Asset Management Baltics at Baltic Horizon, Martynas Babilas MRICS, Head of Corporate Real Estate at Newsec Baltics, Allan Hani, and Peteris Strautins for insightful discussions. NEWSEC FINNISH PROPERTY OUTLOOK AUTUMN 2024 Newsec Property Outlook Finland provides our view of Finland's near-term real estate investment market. The Finnish real estate investment market has been in a long winter slumber since central banks began raising interest rates in Q3 2022. Now, there are signs of awakening in the market, alongside positive signals. The interest rate cuts initiated by central banks have brought favorable winds, and the European real estate investment markets have already started a recovery phase, which has led to an increase in transaction volumes. Newsec expects Finland to follow the rest of Europe with a lag, and real estate transaction activity will grow towards the end of the year and continue into next year. From next year onward, Finland's economic indicators will turn positive and begin to support the recovery of the real estate market. In the autumn 2024 Newsec Property Outlook Finland, Newsec offers its view of the near-term real estate investment market in relation to financing, investment demand, occupier market, and sustainability for all real estate sectors.
