🇫🇷 🤝🇸🇪 A successful French-Swedish Innovation Forum  Yesterday, a high-level forum organised by the Chambre de Commerce Suédoise en France - CCSF took place in Stockholm. The event was opened by Gîta Paterson, President of the Swedish Chamber of commerce in France and Diane Doucerain, chargé d’affaire a.i French Embassy in Sweden.      Through engaging discussions and inspiring panels, participants explored opportunities and challenges in key areas of the Strategic Partnership signed between France and Sweden during the State visit of French President Emmanuel Macron last January. These areas included security and defence, digitalisation, nuclear energy, mobility, and the green transition.     H.E Håkan Åkesson, Ambassador of Sweden to France, concluded the event by highlighting the strong economic ties between France and Sweden in numerous sectors.      This event not only fostered valuable connections but also reinforced shared commitment to driving innovation and sustainability in both nations.   We look forward to future collaborations to further strengthen the ties between France and Sweden! 🇫🇷 🇪🇪 French-Estonian Cleantech Business Forum  On Monday, 14 October, the French Embassy in Estonia, in partnership with the CCI France-Estonie (ex-CAdFE), hosted a forum focusing on French-Estonian collaboration in the cleantech sector. The event started with a speech by Emmanuel G. F. MIGNOT, Ambassador of France to Estonia, setting the stage for a day of valuable networking and collaboration. Business France was represented by Axel Berke-Lagercrantz, Senior Investment Advisor, who spoke to Estonian investors about the attractive opportunities that France has to offer in this sector. Did you know that in 2023, over 11% of investment projects in France focused on decarbonisation? Estonian companies are also making their mark, with Skeleton Technologies announcing a €600 million investment to establish an R&D centre and SuperBattery production site in France last May. Throughout the day, French and Estonian explored synergies and shared experiences, as well as discussed the immense potential of cleantech to tackle energy security challenges, finance solutions for startups, and the state’s role in industrialisation. 👉Did you know?   - In Estonia, over 120 Estonian startups are developing innovative solutions to meet the challenges of decarbonisation and reduce environmental impact.  - Meanwhile, in France, €3.2 billion has been invested in venture capital in the Cleantech sector in 2023.
