Recently, our Phoniro Sverige team hosted its popular Update Date event for customers and partners. This event provides a valuable opportunity to highlight recent product updates, exchange information, and gather feedback. We spoke with Linda Arousell, District Sales Manager, who, along with the rest of the Phoniro project team, planned the event. Why do you host the Phoniro Update Date events? We have regular check-ins with customers who use a Phoniro solution every three to four months. However, to ensure everyone receives the same information and has a solid foundation, we created these events. They allow us to provide consistent updates to all customers, share our latest innovations, explain our future plans, and, of course, create opportunities for one-on-one discussions. Additionally, our customers primarily interact with our salespeople, project managers, and technicians, so these events give them a chance to meet and talk with our specialists as well. What was the primary feedback from the attendees? The feedback we received from participants was very positive. Before concluding the day, we conducted an on-site survey to gather as much feedback as possible. After summarizing the survey results, we found that an overwhelming majority was very satisfied with the event's setup, the venue and facilities, the presentations, and the overall experience, which we are thrilled about. It feels like we have created a winning concept. What are your future plans for these Update Date events? We will continue with this successful concept and plan more meetings across Sweden. It’s essential that these meetings continue to provide significant value to attendees, as many dedicate a full day to attending. There are plenty of opportunities, but the most important focus will always be on our customers’ needs. #assaabloyglobalsolutions #collaboration

We are pleased to be able to continue to celebrate our colleagues and their careers at Global Solutions. This month we spoke to Rudi Balla, Regional Key Account Manager at ALCEA, who shares his breadth of experience and dedication over his 20 years’ service at ASSA ABLOY. “I relocated from South Africa with my wife and two young boys in November 2003. As a locksmith by trade, locks have always been part of my career, but looking back 20 years, I remember telling my wife, "When we get to the UK, I'm going to try something else, no more locks". I suppose one can say, "famous last words", but joining ASSA ABLOY changed my life, and I have not looked back since.” What I love most about my role: Working with a talented and diverse team is one of the best parts of my role. Over the years, I have met and worked with some fantastic people, colleagues and customers alike. Solving challenges, tackling complex situations, and finding an effective solution or strategy; this is where I thrive. What makes ASSA ABLOY special: As most of my career has been with ASSA ABLOY, comparing it with other organizations regarding opportunities, learning, and development isn't easy. What I can say is that if you are looking to progress in your career, at a world-renowned company, ASSA ABLOY has all the support, training, and development programs to help you get there. My 20 years’ experience and opportunities that I have had is a testament to this. My experience of internal mobility: During my career at ASSA ABLOY, I have been very fortunate to have taken on several roles supporting my career development. I am not the one to say no to a challenge. Taking up new opportunities have given me job satisfaction and helped me further develop my knowledge and skills, and at the same time allowing me to add value to ASSA ABLOY. My advice: Changing your role can be daunting, but I would advise everyone to go for it. Set personal goals, what you want to achieve and how you plan to get there.
