This strategic investment will significantly increase our capacity, allowing us to better serve the growing global demand within the nuclear energy sector. 🌍 By refurbishing and reopening one of our SGT facilities, we are set to boost production capacity by an impressive 60% by the end of 2026. 📈 This expansion strengthens our position as a leading supplier, supporting both conventional nuclear power plants and emerging technologies such as Small Modular Reactors (SMRs). ⚛️ “This is a unique opportunity to increase our capacity relatively quickly and meet the demand from our customers in the Nuclear segment. We have recently delivered the first commercial order for steam generator tubes for SMRs, and we expect this technology to grow as the need for fossil-free energy continues to increase,” says Goran Bjorkman, President and CEO.
