The Vedas (/ˈvdəz, ˈv-/;[1] Sanskrit: वेद véda, "knawledge") are a muckle body o texts oreeginatin in auncient Indie. Componed in Vedic Sanskrit, the texts constitute the auldest layer o Sanskrit leeteratur an the auldest scripturs o Hinduism.[2][3]
