Dr. Giuseppe Bonura is Senior Researcher at the Institute for Advanced Energy Technologies “Nicola Giordano” of the National Research Council in Messina. His scientific interests deal with the development of catalytic systems for the production of clean alternative fuels. He is currently responsible for several international and national research projects, especially in the frame of CCU technologies and catalytic applications for the production of alternative carbon-neutral fuels. He is a Scientific Expert, Evaluator and Monitor, regularly assisting the EU Executive Agencies in the context of research and innovation programmes. He is also included in the Register of Expert Peer-Reviewers for Italian Scientific Evaluation (REPRISE). His scientific production includes numerous publications in international journals and the filing of one international patent. He is also Editor of two books and Editorial Board Member and Guest Editor of some thematic journals in the field of chemical processes and innovative industrial processes. Recently, he has been granted the MDPI 2022 Interdisciplinary Topic Award for the collection “Synthesis, Characterization and Performance of Materials for a Sustainable Future”.
