King Alfonso XIII of Spain is planning a trip to Paris, reports the New York Times. He will be accompanied by his wife, Queen Victoria Eugenia, and they will travel incognito as the Duke and Duchess of Toledo. The king and queen will travel from Bordeaux by a regular express train bound for Paris. It is "becoming fashionable for royalty to travel on ordinary passenger trains." Only yesterday, a dispatch from London stated that King George V, Queen Mary and Princess Mary traveled from London to Sandringham by an "ordinary train."
After the Spanish king visits Paris and Verdun, he and the Queen will travel to England.
