Raising Cane’s is set to open its Richmond location at 3064 N. Arthur Ashe Blvd., across from The Diamond, on Tuesday.

Raising Cane’s focused menu has four major items — fresh premium chicken fingers, grade A crinkle-cut fries, creamy coleslaw and garlicky Texas toast. The brand is also known for its award-winning Cane’s Sauce and affectionately calls its fans “Caniacs.”
On opening day, there will be a “Lucky 20” drawing to award 20 customers free Cane’s for a year.
Tuesday’s ribbon-cutting will be held at 9:10 a.m. with doors opening shortly afterward.
Raising Cane’s focused menu has four major items — fresh premium chicken fingers, grade A crinkle-cut fries, creamy coleslaw and garlicky Texas toast.
Here’s what else will be there:
- A coffee truck will be on-site from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. providing complimentary coffee to customers
- Cheerleaders from Virginia Commonwealth University will be energizing the crowd from 8 to 10 a.m.
- The first 100 customers to purchase a combo meal will receive a commemorative beanie, T-shirt and a free box combo on their return visit.
- Raising Cane’s will present donation checks to Feed More, which brings hunger relief to neighbors in need throughout central Virginia, and the Richmond SPCA. The restaurant plans to provide further support to Feed More in the coming months.

“I’m so excited about this opening because the location is close to so many great Richmond institutions,” said Lisa Lacoma, area leader of restaurants. “We’re looking forward to serving up our amazing Chicken Finger meals while partnering with these neighbors and becoming a pillar of the community!”
The Scott’s Walk location will have a drive-thru and an outdoor patio as well as indoor dining.
This Raising Cane’s location will bring more than 100 jobs to the Richmond area, according to a release. Raising Cane’s is currently hiring for staff with wages starting at $16.25 per hour.

The new location is part of the Scott’s Walk retail/restaurant project that will also include a Starbucks, Toast, Marco’s Pizza and Chipotle.
The hours of operation are Sundays through Thursdays from 10 a.m. to midnight and Fridays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 1 a.m.
Last year, Raising Cane’s opened in Chesterfield County at 1321 Huguenot Road and in the Bermuda Square Shopping Center at 12721 Jefferson Davis Highway.
