MeisterTask Review

PROS: o customisability o connection (Mac, iPhone, iPad, etc.) o eye for details o completely free for lone fighters

CONS: The input of info text could be more easy. Archived projects should be syncable to iPhone.

PROS: I like the fact that there is a free version. After all, I use this tool to help manage my personal project (which some might find silly), so I was not looking for anything too complicated. MeisterTask has an intuitive UI that is visually satisfying and easy-to-use, providing me with everything I need (and then some) for a personal project manager.

CONS: I have not used the paid version, so maybe this is a thing in the paid version, but it would be nice to be able to set tasks as being either epics, stories, tasks, or sub-tasks. I know that in the free version, the checklist items can kind of serve as sub-tasks because checking them off displays on the main pane as 1/3 or 2/4, etc. depending on how many checked items are on your list.

PROS: You can do a lot in the free version. So far I've only used by myself to keep organised with my projects but in the future, we want to try it out in our teams, so let's see what the free version offers for that.

CONS: I would like the export functions to be better, I don't really like the format in which you print it or export it as a pdf.

PROS: Simple to use and very simple to sharing the project and the task

CONS: automatic rescheduling about elapsed task

PROS: Unlimited users and unlimited projects on the free plan

CONS: Tbh, none on the free plan, it is very good value! However, I would love to see a paid plan that wasn't charged per user - I will potentially have a LOT of users on the platform which makes the paid features unaffordable.

PROS: I went from managing one major project to managing four. I can keep track of each one through MeisterTask. I'm currently using the free version, but as my responsibilities grow I know I will love the paid for version.

CONS: This project management platform is great!

PROS: Ease of use, allocation of all relevant information in one "Ticket / Task" with Checklists, assignments and the formatting of the text to highlight changes or important aspects

CONS: All features are working perfectly, just some improvements, please see below.

PROS: Real time notifications when task assigned or get completed

CONS: Not getting emails when offline from meister

CONS: so far, after few years of try i can't see any

PROS: The best app for SCRUM. I use it every single day. The integration with mindmeister is awesome.

CONS: Nothing that I can remember now.

PROS: Easy to use, seamless and intuitive. I like how I am allowed an unlimited amount of Projects and Columns. The interface is a delight and the user experience is smooth and with no jarring stops in flow

CONS: There are times where I want to highlight and copy/+paste the title card of my text to export the text outside, however this triggers the card to pop up rather than highlight the text.

PROS: Operates in a way that I'm already familiar with. Having Time Tracking built in without a third-party app is great. Being able to seamlessly move over from Trello into Meistertask was a lifesaver, and I really didn't have to take any time to pause and figure out what needed to be organized before getting right back to work. Meistertask has really helped improve my workflow.

CONS: It's not clear how to move sections around within a project. I actually figured out how to do it by accident, but the reviews I've read online have said that people want to have this feature — they just have no idea that it already exists within Meistertask. Having the past-due dates be yellow on cards that I have already completed is also confusing. Since I've completed the card, that date should be either green or a light gray so that it's not as noticeable. Because the past-due date is an orange color, it makes me feel like it's not done somehow.

PROS: I use the FREE version. It is straight forward and easy to use. Doesn't have all the complex tools like Gannt charts, but that is the beauty of it. Great for managing my customer pipelines and separate projects for office projects and another for personal stuff.

CONS: The phone app doesn't seem to sync properly.

PROS: The simple quotes it shows on the startup. The backlogging (column functionalities are genius!)

CONS: I'm not seeing any problematic aspects so far,
