What Problems Will Docebo Solve?

1. Internal training and enablement: Onboarding and fast ramp to productivity are essential to meet every company objective, and that is even more true for-past paced, hi-tech companies that are rapidly growing. On the other hand, engaging employees greatly reduces voluntary turnover.

Docebo provides the spectrum of functionality and the learning experience required to engage, train, and develop the top talents in the organizations through a blend of learning modalities including online courses, live and virtual instructor-led training classes, experiential and social learning. Docebo makes it easy for learners to get what they need, when they need it in a central location. Assess learning programs’ ROI by tracking course completion and user engagement metrics, and creating and running advanced custom reports. Moreover, Docebo’s gamification engages users with badges, awards, leaderboards, and contests.

2. Extended enterprise enablement: Channel distribution partners, resellers, dealers, franchises, members, customers and end-users of your products and services are all part of your enterprise. Top-performing companies are investing on and reaching out to extended audiences, delivering a measurable impact through external training.

Docebo supports the extended enterprise enablement needs with a comprehensive set of functionalities including:

  • Multiple portals and URLs – Enable multiple organizations in different nodes, and assign different secured URLs, based on your preferred domain.
  • Multiple administration – Create a network of administrators and sub-administrators that can manage different nodes independently.
  • Multiple Authentication – Allow your extended enterprise to access the system via multiple authentication modalities, whether it is via manual login or SAML, OKTA, or ADFS.
  • White labeling – Enable your organization’s teams and partners to use distinctive and templated branding policies, including white-labeling for each of your clients. Every portal can have its own brand identity and look and feel.
  • CRM Integration (Salesforce) – Integrating sales and training workflows and data proves the effectiveness of training and the impact on the business. Prospects learning, channel certification, and sales staff learning are just a few of the opportunities that the Salesforce and DoceboLMS integration offers.

PROS: It comes with plenty of modular functionality. Enabling it is simple. The same goes for deployment. It has over 30 languages. It can easily be translated and adjusted. Simple to utilize. Friendly user interface. Publishing is flexible and it can deliver different kinds of learning content.

CONS: The only downside with it is its pricing. For mid-sized projects, it should be priced reasonably. Maybe a bit lower perhaps? The price tag is in US dollars. For some markets, this could be a financial barrier since not everyone is capable of everything in that currency.

PROS: I truly appreciate the customer support and the platform's loaded functionalities. It's the perfect LMS for internal users. Gamification, interactive dashboards and monitoring are just the few of the important tools.

CONS: We have had Docebo for some time now and are preparing to launch it in our whole organization. I've got nothing to say bad about it but I would love to see reporting visualization of xAPI on it soon. For now, we take the statements and use another tool to interpret them.

PROS: As an instructor, it's very important to me to have oversight of what my students have accomplished, Docebo helps me to delegate to each individual everything I need them to focus on and help me keep an insight on their skills. I even enjoy creating certificates for every batch that graduates, It's really a wise choice for training.

CONS: I don't quite know if it's feasible, but it will help me a great deal to create course performance reports for certain batches only. Right now, every time I review the batch score, it gives me the overall site score.

CONS: The software doesn't support CSS, so it may be hard to get stuff right in my original SCORM scripts, but it's not a huge problem.

PROS: I really liked this app's interface. It has a very nice look and very simple to understand. The upgrade is consistent and has an in-app store which makes it exclusive and distinct. This app is more than just LMS.

CONS: Sometimes the upgrade is too often that it's becoming annoying. Before you can get familiar with the features, tool placement, and interface, they'll roll out the update again. On the other hand, it's great that it's always improving.

PROS: It's very responsive. I'm a new user so I signed up for a trial account first to get myself familiar with the app. I set-up new modules and worked out things with viewing test reports easily by myself. I have excellent support when I had some questions. Also, the user-guide was well designed that I didn't feel intimidated or pressured to learn this new work tool by myself.

CONS: As of the moment, I can't think of anything bad about it. However, when I was learning the app I had trouble with getting the report for each individual on certain courses. I think this just needs more familiarization with Docebo as I always find the things I need. I'll be very excited to use more of its features until the project I'm creating is complete.

It is also very flexible to publish and deliver a variety of learning contents. The support team have excellent technical support. PROS: Being a former tech developer, understanding that consumers will be disappointed by so many buttons, or not understanding where to go, is a vital aspect of user adoption. Docebo makes lessons simple with minimum clicks! This allows them to access classes effectively, conveniently, and for some of our staff, with almost no training required. Staying compliant is a vital aspect of every business, and Docebo makes it smooth and effective.

CONS: Docebo does a good job of verifying that you intend to withdraw a person from a course, or enroll others. There's plenty of verification questions that are nice but changing the user status should also need to have this. Apart from that, Docebo is a great app.

PROS: Docebo is a very flexible application. It features unique UI, course content import features and user administration. Its integrated app store makes it unique compared to other LMS. The ability to add a HR portal or a portal for recruitment and other features increases its functionality to be more than a basic learning management software in its kind. You have options of using the basic setup in the SaaS model then upgrade to the Enterprise version if you want. The pricing model of the active users is also fair.

CONS: When working on our project the the UI was changed significantly that we had to rewrite parts of our custom manual.

PROS: I find it to be highly flexible. I like its user interface, import functionality, and user administration. Its built-in app stores makes it one of the most unique tools out there. It does more than just an LMS. it can used as an HR portal or as an add-on portal for recruitment.

CONS: When we were doing our project, the UI had changed dramatically. So, we had to resort to rewriting different parts of our custom manual. Good news is, its regular updates has proven that the system itself is breathing. The fact that it's being used by an increasing number of professionals makes it a great thing to own.

PROS: We love how modern its UX is. It's not as clunky or ugly as the others out there. Reporting with it is simply amazing. Since it's a SAAS, its functionalities are constantly being included all the time free of charge. Docebo is constantly updated with any new learning trends and factors that go into feature development.

CONS: I like using it so much. There's nothing much to hate with it. It has everything that we need for an LMS. If there's anything else that I dislike, then it would make sense to mention them here. So far, it has everything that we want. A perfect modern LMS for us!

CONS: One thing that I dislike when I'm using this tool: its technical documentation. What's ironic with this is that its documentation doesn't exactly match that of what's happening in real life. For a cloud-based learning management, it's really great to have.

CONS: The steps involved in the implementation of this tool is a bit difficult to comprehend. I wish there was a better way to get around this. For now, I wish they can find a way to deal with this because folks like me are having a hard time deploying Docebo.
