Deskera ERP Review

PROS: After 18 months and more than $9000, the team at Deskera was UN-ABLE to make their system work for our simple little company. They were not even able to integrate the merchant account application as they promised.

CONS: We were charged about $6k for the set up of the system (which took twice as long as promised) and then charged the monthly user fee … when we were not even able to use the system.

PROS: Enables teamwork in resolving customer issues, makes it much easier to manage and monitor every issue and helps make sure nothing is left unresolved. The multiple-activity functionality on any customer issue makes it easier to figure out a lasting solution. It also allows issue documentation in pdf form that enables the team to work on any issue even offline. It also offers free trial.

CONS: A very challenging software with very technical features demanding expertise to effectively use it.

PROS: They were very supportive before we paid for the system.

CONS: They promised it would work with manufacturing, but it did not

PROS: I love the completeness of the tool. DESKERA houses all of our accounting information, including amortization schedules, journal entries, bills, vendor information, revenues, apex, cost of sales, and so much more than I can list here. Every single accounting function my organization does runs through DESKERA. And from there we are able to upload directly to Adaptive Insights, which we use for our forecasting and budgeting

CONS: There's really not much to dislike, but one drawback of the system is that the UI is not as clean as other tools that we use. Salesforce and Adaptive have extremely intuitive, user-friendly, and graphically appealing UI's. While DESKERA houses a lot of information, the UI does seem rather bulky, with a lot of links in the navigation bar across the top. Sometimes I have to search a few places to find what I am looking for.

PROS: Direct integration with other Deskera applications Easy to follow, intuitive design and layout Frequently adding new features and making new integration's available

CONS: Deskera's customer support can be finicky, although they do offer the flexibility of both phone and email support New Deskera users will find there is a bit of a learning curve to navigating the Deskera interface design and layout.

PROS: Easy to update and use, navigation by pc or tablet makes it a portable solution on the shop floor as needed.

CONS: Some features are connected to others so to track labor you need to purchase payroll, even if you don't use payroll in Deskera

PROS: This is the first truly scalable ERP system I've ever encountered, always available to my users wherever and whenever they need access, designed for global commerce and the global supply chain.

CONS: The search bar is wonderful, but the search tool, next to "list" is less intuitive and doesn't return the values as easily. And the Office365 outlook connector could use some work -- it does not do a great job of automatically associating emails with cases, accounts, or contacts, and the native DESKERA functionality leaves a lot to be desired.

PROS: Deskera reports have the ability to sync data from our private network using the upload tools that is reliable and effective. The user interface is simple and self-explanatory, most user will be easy to get familiar with the system. Many possible use scenarios with the ability to have the custom formula.

CONS: No predefined function for some statistical analysis such as NPS but can be overcome with adding custom formula.
