*The RAIC Guide to Determining Appropriate Fees for the Services of an Architect (electronic edition) is open access for anyone*
A Guide to Determining Appropriate Fees for the Services of an Architect (2019 Edition) was developed by the RAIC to assist clients, procurement officers and architects in identifying the scope of architectural services and the fee(s) for those services.
The recommendations within this publication are applicable to building projects of any size, climatic condition, construction type, and occupancy in Canada. Its terms, definitions, and descriptions work in harmony with the Canadian Standard Form of Contract for Architectural Services - Document 6, the Canadian Standard Form of Contract Between Architect and Consultant - Document 9 and the Canadian Construction Documents Committee CCDC 2 Contract.
The RAIC Guide to Determining Appropriate Fees for the Services of an Architect is the most widely distributed, referenced, and respected publication of its kind in Canada.
A Guide to Determining Appropriate Fees for the Services of an Architect (2019 Edition) can be obtained electronically as a PDF booklet (free) and also as a printed booklet in both French and English (at a cost).
The electronic PDF booklet is available as a download from the RAIC store at no charge to clients, procurement officers, architects and the general public.
