Inside Sales Director – Life & Annuity Insurance

This is a full time role at a small carrier looking to GROW Sales! This role will take the lead for all Inside and Field Sales and Marketing efforts. The main emphasis being recruiting and on-boarding new (Independent or 3rd Party Agents and Producers). You will also play a crucial role in helping to coach and train the agents on the products and sales techniques, help with Illustration and Case Design concepts and do some field training. The main products for this company are traditional individual Term and Permanent Life Insurance, and Fixed Annuities. 

To qualify for this position you will need:
– Bachelor's degree is preferred, but not required
– 4-5+ years of similar experience as Brokerage Manager, Sales Director, Field Director, Agent Recruiter, or similar 
– Experience working for a Fraternal is a plus
– Deep knowledge of Term and Permanent Life Insurance products
– Working knowledge of Fixed Annuities
– Experience with traditional direct mail campaigns a plus
– Proven ability to recruit, on-board, train and motivate agents to sell
– Any certifications like CLU, ChFC, etc. is a plus
– Able to work in the office daily and do some light travel

Responsibilities include:
– Increase Sales and Membership (Fraternal)
– Develop and maintain a productive field force with sense of urgency
– Oversee and lead Marketing efforts internally and with field force
– Be the in-house expert on products
– Oversee all field agent recruiting, training, continuing education support, FIC development, supervision, expense control, support services, point of sale materials, brochures and audio/visual aids and sales guides
– Develop, conduct and administer sales/marketing campaigns
– Conduct seminars and sales training meetings
– Oversee licensing, appointment and contracting materials for new and existing agents
– Help to develop and coordinate advertising & promotional materials
– Develop direct mail programs
– Develop and control the marketing budget
– Assist with product development ideas
– Work Sr Leaders on special projects
– Represent the company at meetings, events, conferences, etc. 
– Manage 1-2 Sales support people
    
This is a full-time permanent role offering generous compensation, benefits and PTO. Our client is based in PA and is looking for someone who can come in to the office regularly (not a remote role).
