𝑾𝑯𝑨𝑻 𝑫𝑶𝑬𝑺 𝑻𝑯𝑬 𝑬𝑵𝑽𝑰𝑹𝑶𝑵𝑴𝑬𝑵𝑻𝑨𝑳 𝑷𝑬𝑹𝑭𝑶𝑹𝑴𝑨𝑵𝑪𝑬 𝑰𝑵𝑫𝑬𝑿 (𝑬𝑷𝑰 𝑺𝑪𝑶𝑹𝑬) 𝑺𝑯𝑶𝑾? The EPI scores can be interpreted at different levels:  ➡️ 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐬 help identify spotlighting sustainability leader countries & calling out laggards,  ➡️ 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐥𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐝𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐬 (individual issue categories, indicators, peer comparisons) provide a more nuanced understanding of the trends & drivers of environmental performance. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐬 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 towards:  ➡️ the UN #Sustainable Development Goals,  ➡️ the #climate mitigation targets in the 2015 Paris Climate Change Agreement, and  ➡️ the #biodiversity protection goals in the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework. 📣🌱 This is our window to secure a #NaturePositive economy for all by 2030. With less than 100 days until the UN Biodiversity #COP16, we’ve published a business statement outlining five high-level policy recommendations for governments to accelerate the implementation of the #BiodiversityPlan to drive corporate #Nature action. With less than 100 days until the UN Biodiversity #COP16, we’ve published a business statement outlining five high-level policy recommendations for governments to accelerate the implementation of the #BiodiversityPlan to drive corporate #Nature action. The statement, endorsed by 130 businesses and financial institutions with combined revenues of $1.1 trillion, calls on governments to adopt policies to: 🌎 Make sure business and financial actors protect nature and restore degraded ecosystems 🌎 Ensure sustainable resource use and management to reduce negative environmental impacts 🌎 Value and embed nature in decision-making and disclosure 🌎 Align all financial flows to transition to a nature-positive, net zero and equitable economy 🌎 Adopt or strengthen ambitious global agreements to address key nature loss challenges It’s time for governments to create an enabling regulatory framework and put nature at the heart of decision-making. 🔗 Find out more: bit.ly/BizCOP16
