The panelists will select the artist and their song to then be taken to "The Workshop" where the artist's determination, dedication and passion will be put to the test through a grueling musical boot-camp working with a music producer and his team. Together, they will have 48 hours to convert the original composition into a production ready for a national release. The home audience is along for the ride. As each hour ticks by, pressure mounts and nerves are raw, as the artist will be opening for a national act, debuting the newly reworked song for the very first time for a packed house and the home audience.
