He decides to flip a coin--head means go ahead, and tail means he'll come back with more gifts. However, after getting tail twice and loading up with gifts, he still can't bring himself to action. He flips again but this time fails to catch it. The coin rolls into a storm drain. Mustering up courage, he finally presses the door-bell, but no one answers. Despondently he leaves the gifts at her door and goes away. A few seconds later the door opens. A girl peeks out, finds the gifts and looks them over with an appreciative smile.
