Shortly after the meeting each other, Frank is accused of rape on social media. The accusation spreads to the mainstream media, leading to imprisonment and trial. Sonja believes in Frank's innocence. Sonja's support is invaluable when legal processes are unreliable. The series follows the couple's life in Kenya and Finland over the course of six years, where every turn is full of surprises.
