Its length is 1,300 feet which runs for fifteen minutes duration. The director starts his shots from historical monuments, introducing the city and its attractive places and takes his camera on the shoe factory. How a shoe is made in the factory, the system of work in every department, the condition of workers and officials, the gay atmosphere of the factory-all is shown with directorial deftness by Mr. Fazli. It is an absorbing film. The film stars and the cricket stars have been introduced along with the introduction of various shoes convincingly. To make a publicity film in such a manner that it may not give effect of a forced publicity is by no means an easy job. Special art: The scope for entertainment in such films is very limited. It requires a special art to make a publicity film which entertains and interests a viewer and at the same time serves the purpose of publicity. Director Fazli has done full justice to this film. The camera work is commendable. It pans sideways and tilts up and down from one shot to the other gently without giving any jerk. With that the framing and the proper angles and good background commentary have added to the attraction of the film. The artistes who have co-operated in making this film include Sabiha, Santosh, Musarrat, Nazir, Bahar, Ijaz / Kamal, Laila, Nayyer Sultana, Zareef. Rattan Kumar and Rukhsana. The cricketers Fazal Mahmood and Shuja have also appeared on the screen. See less
