Jonathon is introduced to Rosa, the religious mother; Sabrina, the flighty sister; and Cristina, the two-faced cousin, who has also brought her boyfriend, Alonzo, to the party. Maya confides her plan to Sabrina who, in a bad translation of the word "embarazada," accidentally tells Cristina that Maya is pregnant. Cristina tells Rosa, who misunderstands and thinks her daughter has been chosen by God as the carrier for the next immaculate conception. As rumors fly around the party, Jonathon confesses his love to Maya, mistakenly "revealing" her pregnancy. After Sabrina reveals her mistake, the family is left to deal with the embarrassing fallout.
