Next morning Lili Zöllner is found on the beach, fatally stabbed. Christina tells Nils Lili made enemies disappearing from Wismar a year ago, with the money parents, including Ralf Jessen, volunteered to transform her inherited villa into a daycare center for special needs kids. A London bankruptcy legally rendered her immune for claims. Guilt-consumed and with a crush on Christina, Nils goes solo, barely coordinated with his detective colleagues.
