He stuns Domenique, her producer-director-writer husband Larry Galloway, British actor Allen Hendricks, and karate expert Agato Nakamura by flatly stating his suspicion that an insurance fraud is in the making. Robin's suspicions are confirmed when he's trapped in a projection theater where an unseen gunman tries to kill him. Then when Robin's waiting to meet Domenique who has promised to tell him who is behind the attempted fraud and killings, she turns up dead of an apparent suicide. Robin's investigation leads him into a deserted movie studio late at night where, after a desperate fight for his life against the criminals involved, he obtains proof that Domenique was murdered as part of an insurance fraud.
