Fiocruz establishes cooperation with Community of Portuguese Language Countries

The Foundation, the Brazilian Agency for Cooperation, and the Executive Secretariat of the Community of Portuguese Language Countries (CPLP) signed a memorandum of understanding in Lisbon, Portugal. Agreement represents an important step in strengthening health systems of CPLP members

Mario Moreira is reelected president of Fiocruz

Mario Moreira has been reelected by the institution's public servants to serve a term from 2025 to 2028. The candidate received 2,901 votes, which corresponds to 81.8% of the valid votes. A total of 3,546 votes were cast

Agreement is signed with China National Center for Bioinformation

The MoU between the Center for Technological Development in Health (CDTS/Fiocruz) and CNCB outlines collaboration in Bioinformatics and Big Data in Biological Sciences. It also highlights partnerships not only in research and education but also aimed at addressing both national and global challenges
