Ten years ago, over three hundred men, women and children disappeared from a small town in Tennessee, never to be heard from again. In this podcast, American Public Radio reporter Lia Haddock asks the question once more, "What happened to the people of Limetown?" Limetown is produced by Two-Up, the producers of 36 Questions, The Wilderness and Shipworm.
I liked it

I listened to season 1 and read the prequel and after listening to season 2 I don’t think anything was wrong. I don’t think central plot got tampered with at all. Everyone thinks that season 2 is a dream but I just think they were playing Emile’s tapes back to Leah to get her to dream. We don’t know if Leah can read the future, or if she shapes it. Hence the experiment taking place. We were listening to a girl review a tape of a guys tape where he reviews another girls tape.
Should’ve ended with season 1

I liked it, but I’m a kid and it made me sad that he killed the pig. Season two was trash.

Season 1 was an edge of your seat, thought provoking thrill ride. Season 2 was hot garbage. That is not an exaggeration. the plot was slow and plodding, it destroyed well laid plot lines from season 1 with no meaningful payoff or replacement, and indulged in deconstructing central season 1 characters for obvious power fantasy self-inserts. I would say the writers need to go back to school, but there’s only so much education can do. Listen to the first season, then write/imagine your own resolution to the plot. Trust me, you can’t do worse.
