  1. Chapter 2 Ep. 49 Over 100

    Chapter 2 Ep. 49 Over 100

We officially have 100 podcasts in the books since taking over the podcast. What a ride it has been. Also make sure to check out the December issue of the magazine. The link for that is below. Elle and I talk about the fun stories that have come out of Vegas and the Bahamas this last week. The ClubWPT Gold Invitational Freeroll has generated stories just like the old days of poker in my opinion, and even Phil Ivey got nostalgic playing $2/$5 with fans. This week's "Call the Floor" has Elliott ruling on a situation where the dealer announces the wrong pot size in a Pot Limit game. Patrick and I also played Aces with a surprise twist at the end in our "HOTW". In "Joe's One Outer" I end the show talking GTO vs. Gut instincts as inspired by Liv Boeree's admission to how she played in the $25k Super Main Event. Click this link for our December issue of the magazine. This is a quick link to the our Magazine. Click here for our Linktree. It is a quick resource to get you to our magazine, podcast, YouTube, and more. Ante Up Poker Cruise Click here for our Patreon page, where you can support the show and gain access to our monthly Private game. Advanced Poker Training: Improve your poker game while playing up to 500 hands an hour against the smartest artificially intelligent poker players ever designed. For all of our non-US players. Check out Jack Poker here. It is a great site for the everyday poker player, because it's not incentivized for the poker pro, so there aren’t tables full of sharks.

  2. Chapter 2 Ep. 47 Rule 63b

    7 DEC

    Chapter 2 Ep. 47 Rule 63b

This week I start the show by expanding our request for home game photos, and looking for your 2025 poker goals. Elle and I talk about the new rule change for the WSOP on "Table Talk". We also chat about a recent article in Forbes that discusses how poker can help with a job interview. We have a listener that won a seat into the $5million Guaranteed ClubWPT Gold Freeroll later this month. We wish we could be there to cheer you on but we will be cheering you on from Virginia. On "Call the Floor" this week Elliott rules on a situation where a player tables his hand with a vague statement. *Spoiler Alert* It doesn't end well for them. "HOTW" this week has Patrick and I playing QJ suited on the button. Then I end the show this week with "Joe's One Outer" where I talk about adjusting our game to the player. 3. Chapter 2 Ep. 45 Poker is a Mind Sport

    22 NOV

Chapter 2 Ep. 45 Poker is a Mind Sport

I start the show talking about the upcoming road trip, and reflect on how far we have come with Ante Up. Elle joins me again on "Table Talk" where we talk poker as a "Mind Sport" and about Jonathan Little's question "If you could change one rule in poker what would it be?" Commercial gaming revenue is up and HCL has a new 24/7 poker streaming network. We also tease a review that we have coming up in the December issue of the magazine. We talked with Sara O'Connor about her new book, "A New Queen's Guide to Poker". Here is the link to the book. Check it out. In this week's "Call the Floor" Elliott rules on a situation where a dealer turned away from the action and it resulted in a chop pot. You have to listen to see how that one got messed up. "HOTW" this week has Patrick and I playing a AT suited in the Small Blind and Joe just hopes he is not the villain in the hand. As always, I end the show with "Joe's One Outer" where I talk about Thanksgiving traditions. Click this link for our November issue of the magazine. This is a quick link to the our Magazine.
