Quantropi brings post-quantum cryptography to STM32 just in time to face new threats
👀 Is your STM32 device quantum-proof? Quantropi, a member of the ST Partner Program, provides an end-to-end quantum security platform to protect STM32 systems from quantum attacks.
The company’s QiSpace platform offers a range of post-quantum cryptographic solutions to protect data during boot, in the application layer, and in transit across the network. For instance, uLoadXLQ protects firmware at startup by adding a quantum secure digital signature to the bootloader. The solution even works with our Secure Boot Secure Firmware Update mechanism.

Xvisio Technology Corporation chose ST sensors to create its visual simultaneous localization and mapping (VSLAM) engine for glasses and modules. In essence, VSLAM systems map environments while tracking themselves and interacting with the world. TouchGFX 4.24 is an optimization build that further reduces memory needs by offering new image compression formats (RGB565, RGB888, and ARGB8888) and more flash-saving features.
The newest trend in embedded systems is a “single chip” interface, meaning that developers run the entire UI from the RAM and flash of the host MCU instead of using external memory.

Embedded World 2024: showcasing ST’s innovation and key demos
Embedded World 2024, held in Nuremberg from 9 to 11 April 2024, marked a milestone for STMicroelectronics. We welcomed over 30,000 visitors at our booth and received the Community Choice Award 2024. ST technical experts also delivered 19 technical presentations throughout the event.
The STMicroelectronics booth served as a hub for attendees to explore our latest technologies. We distributed around four thousand development boards, allowing developers to experiment with our solutions firsthand. We also recorded 28 product demonstrations which are now available on our official YouTube channel for further exploration of our offer.
The event provides a valuable platform for ST to connect with both existing customers and potential new partners, fostering stronger relationships and expanding their network. This allows ST to not only showcase their latest technologies but also gain valuable feedback to guide future development. Let’s delve into some of the key products showcased at our booth.
