Elgin Grade 292 Full Hunter Case Pocket Watch 7 Jewels C. Watch runs for about 10-15 seconds and then stops and starts running again once it’s moved. It looks like it might be missing a screw on the movement. Dial is in great condition and case is in decent shape. It might just need a service to get it running good.

Elgin Illinois s16 Gold filled Hunter case Pocket Watch, circa 1891. Is in excellent condition running strong keeps good time. 7jewels manual wind movement #4134952. Fancy porcelain dial and glass crystal. Large gold-filled case measures 53 mm across. Running strong keeping time. [Mint] Item has never been used. Excellent Item is like new with very slight signs of use. Very Good Item have some minor signs of previous used but is in great condition without heavy scratches, wear or mechanical issues, may have some fine surface scratches. Good Item has slight surface scratches or slight wear, but looks great. Fair Item shows scratches or weir that is visible. Poor Item is not in perfect working order or damaged. For Parts or Repairs Item cannot be used as-is. Repair needed or used as parts.

Vintage Antique Elgin 14K GF Hunting Case 1921 Pocket Watch Runs ETC10302. Here is a Very nice Elgin 16 size 14K gold filled hunting case type Pocket Watch, serial #23365463. This is a model 6 grade 386 3 /4 plate 17 Ruby and Sapphire jewel stem set nickel movement. The watch is large (about 2 two inches across) and has 2 flip open covers to protect the watch while doing tasks such as hunting hence the term “hunting case watch”. The overall Condition is excellent with very moderate wear from being carried. The case has a basket weave design over a floral background engraved on the (2) protective covers. I see a small hairline in the watch dial between 1 and 2 thru 7 near the edge. It is common with these old watches and does not affect the performance of the watch. The mechanical (winding type) (103) year old watch winds, runs and keeps accurate time over the 24 hours I timed it.. Antique Elgin Gold Filled Hunting Case Pocket Watch C3987. Here is a nice-looking gold-filled pocket watch from 1904, serial #10593423. This watch movement is a 7 jewel 6s size watch movement in a beautiful 16-size gold-filled Victorian style hunting case. There is a liner inside the watchcase that allows different size movements to be used in this case. The watchcase is 46 millimeter or just over 1 3 /4 inches across the front of the watch. This is a 20-year gold filled hunting case that has 3 hinged openings with the stem position being at 3 o’clock. This watch shows lite use. All 3 openings are nice and tight which they should be for a watch that was carried but not opened much. The front dial cover does not close like it should so you will want to get that fixed and have the watch serviced. The mechanical (winding type) (120) year old watch winds continuously, tries to run for a little then stops. So, the watch does not run. On back I acid tested the watch and back case it shows 14K, Gold filled or plated? Watch face has a few marks, missing one hand. I have searched and cannot find another on like this there are three spots on back case that show several numbers and letters. I tried to show them in pictures.
