For the most part it's a good game, maps are great and the ad aren't terrible. My biggest problem is the ai, they will always purposely team up against you and ignore the others. It's even worse when you add more bots, played a few 5 and 6v1s and was the first to go out almost every time and the other bots had lost almost no territory. Also as I've seen other reviews say the dice rolls can be very weird, you can play one game and not have a problem and play another and lose almost every time.

To clarify: The AI sucks. Its not that increasing their difficulty actually makes them play better it just stacks the deck wildly against you, as in your 10 troops start losing to their 2 or 3, theyll damn near ignore each other and just all gang up on the player, your territories on auto will be all spread out vs theyve got tight groupings, etc. Online is fine. Ads are still excessive. Win? Ad. Lose? Ad. Want gems? Double ad! I get it keeps it free but still a bit much.

Long time player, back to the traditional board games in the 70's. The ads are terribly long, and then a reward error pops up for 2 gems or 5 tokens, forced to watch more ads. Just to retrieve my 10 tokens back and get the daily 2 gems from playing 1 game, I timed a little over 6 minutes of ads after repeating ads and/or reward errors. Love Risk, the ads just are not worth it and paying $$ to eliminate the ads? I can find a thousand other things to pay $20 for.
