Today, citizens from across the world are making small changes to their lifestyle and are tracking and reducing their CO2 emissions through the Cool The Globe platform. We believe real change happens when individuals unite to take meaningful climate action.

The app offers hundreds of simple actions to reduce your carbon footprint and calculates the emissions you avoided with each one.

Set monthly and yearly carbon reduction targets based on your country. Log your actions in the app, track your avoided emissions, and measure your progress against these goals.
3. Global Dashboard
"Can one individual make a difference?"
Yes! When many individuals act together, our collective impact is extraordinary. The Global Dashboard displays the total avoided emissions of all Cool The Globe users, inspiring us to create a greener planet together.
4. Community Dashboard for Organizations
Organizations can join Cool The Globe to lead their sustainability efforts:
Build an in-app community and track the collective impact of members.
Organize team and individual competitions to engage everyone.
Share updates, align goals, and drive sustainability using the Community Board.

There's nothing interesting here, just a tiny square tile with a tiny bar indicating your progress. So much more could've been done to gamify this and make it a challenge that people would take up, but the app is far away from it. Additionally the choices to record your actions is confusing, for instance if I go to AC, I have to choose Switched off AC for x hours - this makes no sense unless you're assuming that the AC runs 24x7 and turning it off is something special. Not engaging, so I'm out.

Very good initiative. 2 suggesions (1) "my dashboard" should be easily accessible (2) If i don't have a refrigerator then my saving 24 hrs there is fake. Hence, there should be a way to list my products & my usage pattern. Anything that I save on that, is my real saving. Else, this app will give good looking numbers that do not reflect reality.

There are very limited options in the taking action, there's no composting, avoiding plastics, recycling, refurbishing, repurposing etc. Nothing like remaking something that Indian Households do like making sheets for beds or mats from old clothes. It is designed for urban people only I guess. No integration of daily social media usage, phone usage time, and the battery of mobile being used, for that. Everything is generating CO2, each notification/text even this comment is energy extensive.

Hi Nitika, thank you for using the app and sharing your feedback. to record reduced usage of Plastic, use Menu Materials >> tab Materials > Plastic. Reuse of cloths can be logged as Materials > Products>Clothing > Not purchased.
