Just upgraded my phone and when I say Hey Google, it opens up but doesn't listen. If I click on the microphone so it can listen, it flickers like it's going to but then stays solid mic. I have to type my response. I should add that I already did a troubleshoot and made sure everything is set accordingly. I ended up uninstalling Google and when I reinstalled it, it worked.

Used to be great and useful. Now, it just crashes even when not using it, getting notifications that the Google app has crashed. It was very annoying and had to disable it. Hope they fix it sometime soon. App fixed itself after a few days. Maybe it was my phone, maybe the app. It is super convenient as a widget to search whatever info you need quickly.

I hate that we're being forced to interact with a shoddy, under prepped, half-put-together algorithm that they're pretending is AI (it's not). It's constantly incorrect and any way I've tried to disable it does not work. Ever since the switch to increased 'AI' usage, search results have steadily become more and more unreliable and unhelpful, to the point that I sometimes get completely unrelated search results or results that don't filter based on my actual search.
