Warsaw continues its evolution into the most exciting of European capitals.
At The Poland Observer’s conference session at EXPO REAL (Messe München), in partnership with The City of Warsaw, Maciej Fijalkowski, Secretary of the City of Warsaw in charge of Economic Development & European Funds, will present the capital city’s new & upcoming projects.

- REVITALIZATION OF THE NEW WARSAW CENTRE
Around the Palace of Culture & Science and Central Square, concrete is being replaced by green space. Planned opening: Spring 2025
- THE MUSEUM OF MODERN ART
A new cultural landmark in the city, with 4044 sqm of exhibition space. Opening: October 2024
- THE M3 & M4 METRO LINES
By 2050 there will be 3 more metro lines, totalling 5, with more than half of the capital’s population living within 15 minutes walking distance of a metro station
- A TRAM FROM THE CENTRE TO WARSAW WEST STATION
Including a 500m tunnel, the investment is part of a larger tram route ultimately connecting Wola, Ochota, Mokotów and Wilanów. It will become the most important transport hub for the western districts of Warsaw. Planned opening: mid-2026
- THE PEDESTRIAN & CYCLING BRIDGE
Spanning 452 metres over the River Vistula, the bridge was opened in spring this year and is already one of Warsaw’s most popular destinations
- SINFONIA VARSOVIA
On the eastern side of the river, its redevelopment is divided into 2 stages, seeing the modernization of surrounding historic buildings and construction of a concert hall for 1800 people. Planned completion: end of 2029
- UNDERGROUND PARKING UNDER POWSTANCÓW WARSZAWY SQUARE.
A modern underground parking garage with 420 spaces. Developed through PPP with a 40-year concession, the parking will open in the 1Q 2025
- A PUBLIC PRIMARY SCHOOL FOR 450 STUDENTS IN MOKOTÓW
The first public school in Poland built for the city by a private investor (Echo Investment S.A.), continuing the area’s transformation from an office district into a multifunctional urban quarter. The school will open in September 2025

Including 33/35 Dobra Street in the centre, Kłobucka Street in Ursynów, 78 Okopowa Street in Wola - and several more.
