The first LOT Polish Airlines Embraer 195-E2 is now in operation. As the largest member of the E-Jet E2 family, the E195-E2 is engineered to enhance performance and profitability on busy routes. Its design features high-aspect-ratio wings with swept tips and other aerodynamic advancements, which together contribute to a significant reduction in fuel consumption - by double digits - compared to earlier E-Jet models. The newest addition to our fleet, the Embraer 195-E2 from the Brazilian manufacturer, is 25% more efficient than its predecessor, the E195. The digitalisation of work tools for LOT Polish Airlines crew continues to advance rapidly. Recently, thanks to the efforts of project initiators Jakub Staruch, Mateusz Dzikowski Leszek Tejwan, and the entire EFB (Electronic Flight Bag) team, a cutting-edge system based on the latest generation of iPad devices was successfully implemented on the Boeing 787 Dreamliner fleet. The process has also begun for the short and medium-haul fleets. This upgrade has significantly reduced crew workloads by optimising operational applications and introducing the eSIM and internet connectivity system, with WiFi to follow. The team remains committed to progress and plans to fully digitise maintenance procedures, including technical logbooks for aircraft, shortly.
