Template cards show as never-ending loading

Description

When translating the "Short story" article to Occitan as a new article, the following issues are present:

  • Selecting the Redirect template (which renders as an empty line because of T300958) results in the template card to get stuck in a never-ending load status.
  • Selecting the Literature template results in the template card to get stuck in a never-ending load status and does not even show the template name.
  • Taping the text paragraph below the previous two templates does not select the paragraph on the first tap, requiring a second one to be selected.

When translating the Tokyo article from English to Igbo, selecting the first infobox results on the template card to load indefinitely:

Note that the Infobox settlement template is not available in Igbo according to Wikidata

Fixed in T300958: "See also" template rendered as an empty line in Section Translation

  • Selecting the Literature template results in the template card to get stuck in a never-ending load status and does not even show the template name.

Currently that table is not show in SX. It is also not displayed in mobile version of the article : https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Short_story. The table is meta information about the article and cannot be meaningfully translated.

This is currently working. The template cards loading does not go into an infinite loop. This loads when available and when its not available it displays a message indicating that it is not available
