Description

Update Apertium language pairs in Debian:

Note: Checklist is being updated as task progress.

  • aprtium-arg-cat
  • apertium-spa-arg
  • apertium-srd-ita
  • apertium-cat-srd
    • Remove apertium-arg from Debian after pairs (arg- and -arg) are uploaded.
    • Remove apertium-cat from Debian after pairs (cat- and -srd) are uploaded.
    • Remove apertium-srd from Debian after pairs (cat- and -srd) are uploaded.
  • apertium-crh-tur
    • Remove apertium-crh and apertium-tur from Debian after testing migration.
  • apertium-hbs-eng
    • Remove apertium-hbs from Debian after testing migration.
  • apertium-kaz-tat
    • Remove apertium-kaz and apertium-tat from Debian after testing migration.

@KartikMistry can you confirm that the enabled languages have Apertium available when used in Content Translation.

I tried to check the "apertium-srd-ita" pair which I assume it is Sardinian to Italian. I tried this translation and no MT options were available:

Can you check each of the language pairs listed in the description?

This task was to keep track of progress in Debian as task description says. Current deployment of new language pair requires Backport to Debian stable, which is separate task.
