"When I Say Cyber, You Say Power!" On October 11, 2024, the Technology Solutions Group hosted the main event of Cybersecurity Awareness Month at the 16th floor, P&A Grant Thornton Office! With the theme "Cybersecurity in Unity: Strengthening our Collective Action to Grow and Protect," the Purple Tribe gathered together for an afternoon packed with learning, valuable insights, and fun. The event kicked off with an energetic opening ceremony featuring inspiring messages from our Purple Tribe leaders. Boyet Murcia, Chairman and Managing Partner, emphasized the importance of a top-down approach, stating that we must lead by example in prioritizing cybersecurity. He called for P&Aers to take ownership of our collective security and be proactive in protecting our data. Leonard Duque, Director and Chief Information Officer, encouraged us to be the first line of defense for our data. He emphasized the importance of individual responsibility and awareness in maintaining a strong cybersecurity posture. Atty. Vier Aznar, Vice Chairman and Deputy Managing Partner, reiterated P&A Grant Thornton's commitment to cybersecurity and formally started the event proper. P&Aers tested their knowledge and skills in 7 different interactive activities themed around the shared role of protecting our data, with participants in all of the games qualifying for a raffle draw.
