On September 3, 2024, the Rotary Club of Makati (RCM) held its first regular meeting for the month of September at the Rigodon Ballroom of the Peninsula Manila. The Club’s guest speakers were Carlos “Caloy” Yulo, Artist Gymnast and 2024 Olympic Double Gold Medalist, and Cynthia Carrion, President of Gymnastics Association of the Philippines. The successful event, which is intended to honor Caloy and Cynthia, is titled “The Road to Paris and Beyond: Caloy and Cynthia’s Olympic Gold Journey.” Chris Ferareza, Chief Sustainability Officer and Partner for Advisory Services of P&A Grant Thornton, and Vice President and Director for Club Administration and Programs of RCM, oversees RCM’s Programs Committee which planned and ensured the event's success.
