Katharine McPhee

Katharine McPhee Foster is an American singer, songwriter, and actress. McPhee rose to fame in 2006 as the American Idol runner-up on season 5. Her debut self-titled album was released in 2007 and reached number two on the Billboard 200 chart. McPhee is also well-known as an actress for her roles on NBC's Smash and the CBS drama Scorpion. Additionally, McPhee appeared on Country Comfort on Netflix for one season. Her film credits include House Bunny, You May Not Kiss the Bride and Peace, Love & Misunderstanding. In 2018, McPhee made her Broadway debut as the lead in Waitress.
