When Jennifer Lopez hit the red carpet at the Grammy Awards on Feb. 23, 2000, the internet went into a frenzy (before an internet frenzy was even a thing). The jungle-print Versace gown featured a plunging neckline that dropped past her navel. According to Project Syndicate, the fashion moment generated a spike in Google searches and led to the birth of Google Images.

"I put on the green dress and come out, and Benny goes, 'That's it. That's it. Don't even talk about it. That's the dress,' " Lopez said in 2019 on the premiere episode of her YouTube series 'Fashion Moments.' "And, of course my stylist is mortified. She's like, 'No! It's been worn before!' But the guys were adamant, and we said okay."

Ever since she debuted the jaw-dropping gown, Lopez hasn't been afraid to recreate what she called her "biggest fashion moment ever." From two hosting stints on Saturday Night Live to strutting down the Versace runway in 2019, the This Is Me ... Now star has revived her famous "naked" dress over the years, but she's not the only one.

See all the celebrities who have recreated Lopez's iconic look — and even a few who wore the dress first!

RuPaul's Drag Race season 14 contestant Kerri Colby sashayed down the runway in Lopez's iconic flowing gown on the 2022 episode "Night of a Thousand J.Los." The performer and trans activist revealed that it was "the same dress" Lopez wore at Milan Fashion Week in 2019.

"... So, it was a feature moment that was a very limited quantity made for Versace that year. I happened to be able to get my hands on the same exact garment," Colby told Entertainment Weekly for its Quick Drag Twitter Spaces. "I definitely had to return it as soon as I got back. That was literally my lifeline. [My friend August and I] were basically like family, so I didn't do any crazy contracts or sell my soul for the dress!"

Colby seemingly got Lopez's stamp of approval when The Mother star posted four green hearts in response to a video shared on Twitter (now X) of Colby rocking the dress on Drag Race.
