The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were spotted in Costa Rica with their son Prince Archie, 4, and daughter Princess Lilibet, 2, CRHoy.com reported on Dec. 21, 2023. The family of four reportedly arrived on Dec. 14 and departed on Dec. 20. The local outlet said that they traveled to Zapotal, Nandayure and Guanacaste. In September, the couple reportedly stopped in Portugal (where Harry’s cousin Princess Eugenie and her family live part-time) after the 2023 Invictus Games in Germany and quietly visited the Caribbean in October after marking World Mental Health Day in New York City. The chat took place on Nov. 15 at a private residence in Montecito, California, where Meghan lives with Harry, Archie and Lilibet. During the event, Meghan revealed that her son was taking after Harriman, a celebrated photographer who is behind some of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's portraits. "The inspiration runs deep," Meghan said. "Our 4-year-old," before correcting herself, "4 ½ -year-old son — he would say, 'No, I'm not 4. I'm 4 ½ — Misan was showing him how to do photography the last time he was with us, and I bought Archie a camera, and he said, 'But it's not a Leica like Misan,' " she said with a laugh. "I said, 'You are not getting a Leica! Not even for Christmas,' " Meghan continued of the luxury cameras, directing her attention to Misan. "So thank you for the inspiration across the board." "We wish you a very happy holiday season. Thanks for all the support in 2023!" the card reads. It also links to the couple's annual Archewell Foundation impact report, which features a video highlighting some of their work throughout the past year. Harry and Meghan chose a glam photo from the closing ceremony of the 2023 Invictus Games, which took place in Düsseldorf. Harry sported a black suit with black dress shirt, while Meghan wore a green strapless dress with delicate laser-cut flower details. The couple cheered and clapped as the U.S. team walked onto the stage as Bruce Springsteen's hit "Born in the USA" played. During an appearance on the red carpet at last month's Variety's Power of Women event in Los Angeles, Meghan was asked by a reporter about her favorite holiday tradition.
