Kim Kardashian Opens Up for First Time About Son's Rare Skin Condition: 'I Passed It On'

The reality TV star is a mom to sons Saint, 8, and Psalm, 5, and daughters North, 11, and Chicago, 6

Kim Kardashian is sharing a health update about one of her sons.

The SKIMS founder, 43, appeared as a guest on the She MD podcast on Tuesday, July 16, where the mom of four opened up about her struggles with psoriasis and revealed the skin disorder she passed down to her son.

"It came from my mom, went to me … and I passed it on in a different form to my son, who has vitiligo very mildly,” The Kardashians star said.

"We got it under control," she added of her little one's condition, which causes pigment to be lost from certain areas of the skin.

Kardashian is a mom to two sons, Saint, 8, and Psalm, 5, but she didn't specify which son has the skin condition. She is also a mom to daughters North, 11, and Chicago, 6, and shares all four children with her former husband Kanye West.

The proud mom recently showed off Saint's basketball skills, when she shared several videos of her of him playing the sport with his All Star team on her Instagram Stories on June 18.

In the first clip, Saint received a pass from a teammate before scoring a successful shot. After which he played to the crowd a bit before adding even more points to the scoreboard with two more baskets.

Sporting blonde hair, Kardashian’s older son wore a No. 2 jersey while running up and down the court alongside his teammates during the fast-paced game.

“Saint made the All Star team 💥,” she wrote as she shared a video of her son playing on the court. “They won and he played so good.”

In the clip, Saint dribbled the ball from one end of the court to the other before scoring for his team.
