Ice Spice Twerks as Statue of Liberty in New Video for Travis Scott-Assisted 'Oh Shhh...' — Watch!

Ice Spice is celebrating the freedom to throw it back.

The Grammy nominee, 24, officially released her long-awaited debut album Y2K! on Friday, July 26. And along with it, she dropped a music video for her Travis Scott-assisted album cut "Oh Shhh...," in which she can be seen "doing her dance" as the Statue of Liberty.

The New York native's latest video has it all — Ice Spice on display in a museum, her twerking while holding a stack of money (and a torch, of course) as the Statue of Liberty, and Scott, 33, apparently rapping his verse from atop the monument itself.

At one point in the visual, Ice Spice and Scott pose together next to a dinner table full of food, as he pours out one of his signature Cacti drinks with the Bronx rapper twerking behind him. The video, directed by Frederick Buford, also shows a burning New York City, as the two artists continue to do their thing apparently unfazed.

"Oh s---, she turn up the spot (She turn up the spot) / Oh s---, she totin' the knock (She totin' the knock, grrah)," Ice Spice raps in the chorus. "Oh s---, she doin' her dance (She doin' her dance, like) / Oh s---, she countin' her bands (She countin' her bands)."

The latest visual from Ice Spice arrives just in time for the release of her debut album, which features 10 tracks and assistance from the likes of Scott, Central Cee and Gunna. Featuring singles including "Gimmie a Light," "Did It First," "Phat Butt" and "Think U the S--- (Fart)," the record runs for around 23 minutes with six previously unreleased tracks.

The Bronx rapper caught up with Rolling Stone this week for the publication's latest cover story, as she opened up about her relationship with friend and collaborator Taylor Swift, her thoughts on Matty Healy's racially insensitive 2023 podcast appearance and being on "good" terms with collaborator Nicki Minaj.

During the conversation, Ice Spice detailed how she discovered Swift wanted to collaborate with her on their 2023 remix of Midnights track "Karma." As she explained, she got a call from her manager, which she thought would be "bad news" since "he usually texts." The rapper's go-to producer and friend RiotUSA recorded the moment, too, she added.

"He’s like, ‘Taylor Swift has a record for you to get on from her album.’ I’m playing it cool on the phone. I’m like, ‘Oh, that’s cool. Super cool.’ And then I hang up the phone and I’m hysterically crying," she said.

Ice continued: "I’m in my walk-in closet, and I’m like, ‘Bro, this is not real life.’ Riot definitely filmed it. That’ll probably be in a documentary one day."

Swift herself also spoke about what she admired in Ice for the Rolling Stone cover. "I love when I meet a new artist who takes a keen interest in not just the music, but the music industry and how it works,” she said. “I’ve seen how our industry tries to convince artists that they’re better off just being creative and making music and letting the labels and the management do the rest."

"Seeing Ice lean into the strategic, financial, and business aspects of her career is really exciting for me. The more artists learn about the inner workings of the music industry, the more power they can have in their creative world. I knew based on the questions she asked and the observations she made that she didn’t just want to be a passenger in her own career. She wanted to be the driver of it.”

Now embarking on a world tour, Ice Spice told Rolling Stone that she "definitely wanted to branch out more and try different sounds" for her latest effort. “I just love the Y2K aesthetics as a whole, how people dressed,” she said. “That’s just my s---. I would just say it’s very c--ty."
