On Tuesday, June 25, the British actress confirmed she's expecting her first child as she revealed her baby bump during the 2024 Into Film Awards, at the Odeon Luxe Leicester Square in London. A beaming Froggatt, who plays Anna Bates in Downton Abbey, cradled her belly as she matched the red carpet at the event in a scarlet mini dress featuring a long train and thin straps. The mom-to-be, 43, added some extra height with a pair of coordinating satin scarlet heels, and wore her blond hair in a loose, straight style around her shoulders. Froggatt's rep didn't immediately respond when contacted by PEOPLE. In February 2020, Froggatt confirmed she'd split from now-ex husband James Cannon after seven years of marriage, telling The Telegraph they had “been separated for a little while.” “I’m looking to the future,” the actress said at the time. “I’m just going to embrace this year and see what happens.” Froggatt also told the outlet while discussing entering her 40s, “I thought I’d win an Oscar, be married with three kids and living in Hollywood." "But those are dreams that you have when you’re a teenager," she added.
