Dan Savage was driving four of his family members when their sedan was hit by a pickup truck at the intersection of 136th Avenue and 58th Street in Fillmore Township, reports WWMT, WOOD-TV, and The Holland Sentinel. According to the outlets, a preliminary investigation by the Allegan County Sheriff’s Office showed that Savage, who was driving west, failed to make a stop. He was pronounced dead at the scene and his wife and sons were transported to the hospital with injuries. The pickup truck driver was not injured, per the outlets. "They just had a vacation to Disney a few weeks ago, and it was a family outing they were going on when this happened. Everything was about family for them," Savage's aunt, Tina Josten, told the media group. "We are seeking donations to support the family during these uncertain times, helping with funeral costs, medical expenses, and any ongoing care the children are going to need."
