Pax Thien Jolie-Pitt is treating his mom Angelina Jolie!

The Eternals star, 49, and her son were spotted having a dinner date at Sushi Park in West Hollywood on Friday, July 12 — and the 20-year-old appeared to pay for the night out.

Jolie and Pax were photographed walking from the restaurant in high spirits. Jolie wore a simple black dress for the occasion with black heels and a matching black handbag. She had her hair down for the outing and accessorized the look with black sunglasses.

As for Pax, he opted for a white shirt and beige slacks with a blue statement jacket and sunglasses. He was also seen taking out his American Express credit card while he paid the valet for parking — and even possibly paid for the dinner.

Following the opening of the play, Jolie revealed that she got to “learn more about” her then-15-year-old daughter, Vivienne, and her love of theater through the process of producing The Outsiders alongside her.

"She'll correct me," Jolie later told PEOPLE of Vivienne's theater-producer aptitude, during the show's April premiere in New York City. "She'll say, 'Didn't you read the memo? We have to do this. We have to go through this.' "

"She's been a really tough assistant," the Girl, Interrupted actress added at the time of her daughter. "She takes it very, very seriously."

Earlier this month, a source opened up about the Oscar winner’s current mindset as she continues to support her children during their different endeavors.

"Angie seems very happy and content with her life," a source close to Jolie told PEOPLE. "She's focused on her kids and work. She's involved in projects that she truly cares and feels passionate about."

The insider added, "She's very proud of her kids."
