The iconic franchise first premiered in 2001 with Bridget Jones’s Diary, which starred Renée Zellweger as the chainsmoking British "singleton" who must choose between her two love interests Hugh Grant and Colin Firth. In the nearly 25 years since, the subsequent sequels have followed our heroine as she has a baby, deals with grief, and more. Now the fourth installment, Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy, is set to hit theaters on Valentine's Day. Though Grant was missing from the third film, Bridget Jones's Baby, he's back again as Daniel Cleaver, reprising the roguish role two decades later. Ahead of the movie's Feb. 14 premiere, here's a look back at the star-studded cast over the years dating back to the very first premiere! 01 of 12 Introducing Bridget and Daniel Hugh Grant and Renée Zellweger.
