500 BRUSHSTROKES BY WIU JIAN'AN An evening of collaboration, conversation and art took place yesterday in our Copacabana room in Miraflores Park, with the workshop of Chinese artist Wu Jian'an. It started with a presentation of the artist and the international contemporary art mediator Pablo Espinel Rudolf, who explained more about the project ‘500 brushstrokes’ and his journey through Peru. During the workshop, each guest had a turn to make his or her own brushstroke with Chinese ink and brushes more than 100 years old. These brushstrokes were collected by the artist to later form part of the art piece he will produce in Beijing. - 500 TRAZOS POR WIU JIAN’AN Una noche de colaboración, conversaciones y arte se dio ayer en nuestro salón Copacabana en Miraflores Park, con el taller del artista chino Wu Jian'an. Se inició con una presentación del artista y del mediador de arte contemporáneo internacional Pablo Espinel Rudolf, quienes explicaron más sobre el proyecto “500 brushstrokes” y su viaje a través del Perú Durante el taller, cada invitado tuvo un turno en el que hizo su propio trazo con tinta china y pinceles de más de 100 años. Our hotel's stunning library holds a captivating story. Originally crafted in the 1920s for the Nicolini family, this exquisite space was a cherished part of their historic Lima residence. When the family decided to renovate their home, they graciously gifted this literary gem to our visionary founder, Leopoldo Arosemena. As a token of gratitude for his previous work with the family, Mr. Arosemena incorporated this magnificent library into the heart of Miraflores Park, where it continues to enchant our guests today. - La impresionante biblioteca de nuestro hotel guarda una historia cautivadora. Construida originalmente en la década de 1920 para la familia Nicolini, este exquisito espacio era una parte muy preciada de su histórica residencia de Lima.
