Harvest season begins in the sacred valley Yesterday we celebrated potato and corn harvest season with a special Pachamanca also commemorating Mother's Day next to the Urubamba river. At Rio Sagrado's garden we enjoyed an authentic meal, a traditional Peruvian dish baked within hot stones. Live local music and an exhibition of homegrown crops from local communities were the stars of an afternoon of celebration. - Empieza la temporada de cosecha en el valle sagrado. Ayer celebramos la temporada de cosecha de patatas y maíz con una pachamanca especial que también conmemoraba el Día de la Madre junto al río Urubamba.
